Raw chocolate 'Theobroma Cacao' literally means 'food of the gods'. Revered by the ancients and used in various mixtures for culinary, ceremonial and medicinal purposes; the 16th century Aztec king Montezuma favored raw cacao for its aphrodisiac qualities.

The Chocolate Harlots love eating raw chocolate because it is loaded with over 300 nutritional compounds including Anandamide, also known as the bliss molecule. The name is taken from the sanskrit word 'ananda' which means bliss or delight. Eating raw chocolate is bliss!
